Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing were:
Carmena Brooks, 41, of 40 Longview Drive, Avella; accidents involving injury; charged May 30; sentence – 12 months probation.
David M. McCloskey, 40, of 31 Crawford St., Canonsburg; possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance; charged Jan. 29; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail and 12 months of probation.
Cody G. Neely, 42, of Jane Lew, W.Va; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 20; sentence – 12 months of probation and drug counseling.
Madison Staranko, 25, of Newboro; identity theft; charged Jan. 17; sentence – 12 months of probation, $116 restitution.
Jake A. Hoey, 23, of 4490 Finleyville Elrama Road, Finleyville; receiving stolen property; charged Nov. 20, 2009; sentence – 24 months of probation and $700 restitution.
Carmen Alexander, 46, of 253 Davidson Drive, Charleroi; simple assault and child endangerment; charged Jan. 16; sentence – 11 ½ to 23 months in jail and five years probation.
Nathaniel T. Engott, 33, of 136 E. Pike St., Canonsburg; child endangerment; charged June 27; sentence – 2 to 24 months in jail and parole.
Sheri R. Cogley, 39, of 5041 Doyle Road, Pittsburgh; theft; charged Feb. 1; sentence – 6 to 12 months in jail, $1,119 in restitution.
Angela Smith, 26, of 605 Rear Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi; disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 4 and June 23; 1 to 12 months in jail and 12 months of probation.
Pedro E. Gonzalez, 38, of Enigma, Ga.; resisting arrest; charged Feb. 2 sentence – 3 to 6 months in jail and no contact with Walmart.
Kimberly A. Hill, 34, of 150 Washington St., Cokeburg; retail theft; charged July 7, 2012; sentence – 4 to 23 months in jail and parole revoked.
Eric J. Raineri, 48, of 57 S Bridge Road, Prosperity; indecent assault, corruption of minors; charged July 1, 2008; sentence – 6 months jail followed by 23 months in the intermediate punishment program and two years of probation.
Carrie M. Yevcinez, 41, of 356 Coyle Curtain Road, Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 31 sentence – 12 months of probation.
Melissa A. Behanna, 31, of 425 N. Main St., Houston; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 4; sentence – 12 months probation.
Joseph Adams Jr., 48, of 350½ W. Pike St., Canonsburg; driving under the influence of alcohol; charged March 27; sentence – 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, suspended license for one year.
David Tilger, 50, 37 Birch Way, Muse; DUI; charged Feb. 3, 2012; sentence – 1 to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, suspended license for one year.
Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged. Admitted were:
Matthew Mahon of 555 Sloop Road, Pittsburgh; admitted for 12 months for DUI; charged Sept. 15; 30-day license suspension.
Jamie K. Poborski, 21, of 118 Altamont Ave., Washington; admitted for 12 months for false reports; charged May 22.
Kristin M. Bevier, 43, of 226 Fannie St., McDonald; admitted for 12 months for disorderly conduct; charged April 29; $50 fine.
