State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Jefferson, Monday said her office is launching monthly constituent service outreach in Fredericktown and Masontown.
Starting Tuesday, the Fredericktown outreach will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Fredericktown Area Public Library, 38 Water St.
The Masontown outreach will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, beginning Aug. 27, at the Masontown Borough Municipal Center, 1 East Church Ave.
“The outreach is part of my commitment to increase access to state resources throughout the 50th Legislative District,” Snyder said. “No appointments are necessary, and my staff will be available to assist with any state program and answer questions on a variety of state-related topics.”
Snyder said the outreach in Fayette and Washington counties complement the outreach which began in July in Richeyville, where sessions are held from 2 to 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Company, 14 Firehall Road.
District residents with any questions may call Snyder’s Carmichaels office at 724-966-8953. Snyder also maintains satellite offices at 33 Market St., in Brownsville and at 93 E. High St. in Waynesburg. Contact information is available through her website, www.pahouse.com/Snyder.
“I encourage residents to visit one of the monthly sessions,” Snyder said. “It’s not always convenient to visit one of the offices, and face-to-face communication often is the best way to resolve issues and questions.”
The 50th Legislative District is one of the largest in Pennsylvania at roughly 650 square miles and encompassing all of Greene County and parts of Fayette and Washington counties.
