Philly house’s windows shatter, explosion reported

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Firefighters are responding to some kind of an explosion at a house in northeast Philadelphia.

WCAU-TV said there was a blast at a home that shattered its windows. Investigators said the home did not collapse.

Officials have not yet revealed the cause of the explosion or if anyone was injured.

Nearby homes are being evacuated as firefighters and Philadelphia Gas Works officials investigate.
