Five people were removed from a Charleroi home when members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Fugitive Task Force served warrants Wednesday.

A deputy sheriff said all five were residing at 901 Meadow Ave.

Chekara Hissom, 31, was wanted on a probation and domestic relations bench warrant. Eric Carrier, 31, was taken into custody on a York County warrant. Crystal Boyde, 33, and Greta Jo Steiner, 52, were both taken into custody on warrants from the office of District Judge Larry Hopkins. All four were placed in Washington County jail.

Also taken into custody was Thomas Russo, 22, who was wanted on a warrant from District Judge Mark Wilson’s office. No information was available Wednesday on the disposition of his warrant.
