CARMICHAELS – The worlds’s strongest redneck is coming to Carmichaels.

The Carmichael’s Ministerium is sponsoring an evening of family fun Sept. 7 at Wana B Park for anyone interested in attending.

The event will take place outdoors, rain or shine, underneath a huge tent. People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs as seating will not be provided.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a live band and free food.

Walking tacos, hot dogs and water will be provided. Activities for children will also be going on.

After the band performs, the audience will get to hear the world’s strongest redneck speak and entertain.

Steve McGranahan is 6 feet tall, weighs 333 lbs and is known to be a very funny guy.

He is able to bench press 500 pounds, dead lift 585 pounds, squat 620 pounds and has run a 50-mile ultra-marathon. McGranahan is redneck to the bone and proud of it.

He is also very funny as evidenced by his regular appearances on CMT’s “Country Fried Home Videos,” sharing the stage with Larry the Cable Guy on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno and amazing the audience on Steve Harvey’s “Big Time Challenge.”

McGranahan takes pride in the family friendly comedic routines that he performs. He declares that no matter what age, they will enjoy his act.

His performances also enlist positive attitudes of encouragement, inspiration and challenges instead of the normal vulgarity, crude humor and hateful themes.

During his speech McGranahan will mix side-splitting comedy with jaw-dropping feats of strength. The audience will get to witness metal being bent, books being ripped and muscles being flexed.

The Ministerium asks that if interested, to register for the event ahead of time. A ticket will be registered for every name given which will be placed into a drawing for prizes such as gas cards and gift baskets.
