Gun, money stolen: Robert Widenor of 617 Cummins Ave. told Chartiers police Tuesday that a gun and $400 was stolen from his vehicle.

Assault charges: Dillon M. Delmonte, 21, of Slickville, Westermoreland County, was charged Tuesday by state police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after the allegedly assaulted Anthony Castelli, 22, of Trafford, at the Aug. 16 Jason Aldean concert at First Niagara Pavilion, Hanover. Castelli reportedly was giving Delmonte’s girlfriend a piggyback ride back to the parking lot when he was hit from behind by Delmonte and knocked unconscious. Delmonte allegedly continued to hit Castelli after he was down. Castelli was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital for treatment of a concussion. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Twice victimized: Amanda Marie Swiridow, 26, of 44 Manor Drive, Bulger, and Roscoe Edward Wilson, 34, of New Cumberland, W.Va., were charged by Hanover police with stealing items from Linda Lashhorn of 152 Devils Den Road last month. Swiridow is accused of taking a leaf blower and hedge trimmer on July 22 and selling the items at a Weirton, W.Va., pawn shop for $100. Wilson is accused of stealing a digital camera, jigsaw, pocket watch and router on July 24. The pocket watch was sold at a Weirton pawn shop, and the other items were sold at a pawn shop in Steubenville, Ohio. Both are charged with theft and conspiracy. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka. Other charges are pending.

Harassment charge: Danny Wray Morris, 54, of 208 Baltimore Ave., North Franklin, was charged with harassment by township police after he allegedly took a photograph of a woman’s buttocks while she shopped Saturday at Washington Crown Center. The woman told police that he had followed her through the mall. She was checking out when she heard a camera click. Police said Morris tried to destroy his cellphone, and that officers found more than 700 photographs of women on the phone dating to July 2012.

Saw stolen: George Dawes of 260 Winona Ave. told North Franklin police Aug. 18 that a Husqvarna chainsaw was stolen from his vehicle.

Cap, gasoline stolen: Mildred Barr of 1880 W. Chestnut St. told North Franklin police Sunday that the gas cap and four gallons of gasoline were stolen from her vehicle.

Assault, other charges: Reed Marshall Morrow, 29, of 131 Spence St., Canonsburg, was charged Wednesday by North Strabane police with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after he allegedly assaulted a co-worker at Bistecca, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, on Aug. 11. Brook Krotnis told police that Morrow grabbed her by the neck and pushed her around the office. Police said Morrow told them he had a few drinks. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in crash: Douglas R. Metcalfe, 31, of 113 North Star Road, Imperial, was charged by Smith police with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and careless driving stemming from a crash Monday afternoon on Bavington Road. Police said his pickup truck hit a utility pole and overturned. A preliminary breath test indicated his blood-alcohol content was almost three times the legal limit, police said. He was taken to Washington Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his alcohol level. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Charged in assault: Ronald A. Patterson, 55, of 605 Ewing St., Washington, was arrested Wednesday night by Washington police on charges of simple assault and harassment. Patterson is accused of striking Debra Zgorzeleski in the face during a confrontation. Patterson was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
