Elderly man dies in W. Pa. house fire

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Authorities say an elderly man died when he was trapped inside his burning Pittsburgh home.

The fire happened in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood at about 8 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters found the unidentified man on the second floor, and an adjacent house was also damaged. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
