WEIRTON, W.Va. (AP) – A Weirton man is in custody after police investigating a robbery found a woman’s body in his home.

Weirton police tell media outlets that 47-year-old Leslee Craig Arnold was arrested Sunday at a residence in Steubenville, Ohio. Arnold is being held at the Jefferson County Jail in Ohio awaiting extradition to West Virginia.

Police didn’t identify the woman or say whether any charges have been filed against Arnold.

Weirton officers went to Arnold’s home on Saturday in response to reports that a woman had been robbed at gunpoint and her vehicle had been stolen. Police say the officers found the woman’s body hidden inside the residence.
