The 20th Century Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Waynesburg University’s Stover Hall. The hostesses are Norma Harper and Virginia LaCount. All members are asked to bring their five favorite things for the Christmas gift exchange.

East Franklin Grange 1709’s meeting Thursday has been canceled. Meetings will resume in January.

Greene County Pomona Grange will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Harveys Aleppo Grange Hall. Masters, secretaries and lecturers will meet at 2 p.m. A covered-dish luncheon will follow the 3 p.m. meeting.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport Fire Hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Plumm Lost, 7 to 9 p.m., and Bob Podish, 9 to 10 p.m. Cost is $4 and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.
