State police in Harrisburg have announced the promotions of several members assigned to Troop B, which is headquartered in Washington.

Dale J. Brown of Avella and Steven C. Dowlin of Waynesburg were promoted to sergeant. Brown will remain at the Washington station, while Dowlin will transfer from the Waynesburg station to the Uniontown station.

Jeremy M. Barni of Washington and David M. Leonard of Bethel Park were promoted to corporal. Barni, who had been assigned to Waynesburg, will transfer to Uniontown. Leonard will remain at the Washington station.
