Truck stolen: A gray, 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 was stolen Wednesday or Thursday from Bodgewic Automotive, 401 Main St., Bentleyville, Southwest Regional police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

One injured: Lora Cardello, 64, of Bethel Park, was slightly injured Sunday night when the vehicle in which she was a passenger, driven by Lillian Franks, 74, of Pittsburgh was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Jack Buel, 31, of Avella, on Interstate 79 south near the Allegheny County line, Cecil. State police will cite Buel with following too closely.

Two injured: Frank Hess, 75, of Seik Road, and Darla Hess, 71, also of Seik, were seriously injured about 5:20 p.m. Saturday when their vehicle was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Scott Rush, 28, of Maryland Avenue, Washington, on Arden Road near Seik, Chartiers police said. Rush was driving west when his vehicle slid on ice into the path of Hess’ vehicle. The Hesses were trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by Chartiers firefighters. They were taken to UPMC, Presbyterian, Pittsburgh for treatment.

Workers identified: The two workers injured while working on a pipeline Friday at the MarkWest processing plant on Route 519 have been identified as Marc Ginsburg, 36, of Pittsburgh, and Frank Stevenson, 53, of Bulger, Chartiers police said. The two worked for Alex Paris Construction. Stevenson was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh while Ginsburg went to Canonsburg Hospital.

Vehicle theft: Logan V. Bosnyak, 18, of 107 Donley Road, Eighty Four, was arrested by state police Monday on charges of theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle and several traffic violations after he allegedly stole a Toyota Corolla from a home at 309 Second St., Marianna. Police said the owner tried talking with Bosnyak, who just drove off. The car was later found at a gas station on Route 519 in Somerset Township. He was found at Walmart, South Strabane Township. Bosnyak was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000.

Charged with theft: Roger Kane Jr., 48, of Westminster, Md., was charged by state police at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino with theft for allegedly stealing a jacket owned by Dalai Mays of Pittsburgh early Monday. The charge was filed at the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug charges: Nathan Ellis, 24, of 31 1/2 E. Hallam Ave., was charged last week by South Strabane police with possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was found with the suspected drugs during a compliance check Dec. 4 by Washington County adult probation at Spring Hill Suites, Trinity Point Drive. Ellis, who was initially placed in Washington County Jail on the probation violation, was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller who set bond at $1,000.

Batteries stolen: A white man wearing blue jeans and camouflage military jacket reportedly stole more than 80 batteries from C&T Auto, 3751 Finleyville-Elrama Road, Union, Friday afternoon, Southwest Regional police said. The man, who was about 6 feet, 2 inches tall with dark hair and a thin build, left in a dark vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Guns stolen: William Biles, 4236 Finleyville-Elrama Road, Union, told Southwest Regional police Friday night that five guns were stolen from his home. The stolen guns include a .45-caliber Taurus pistol, 9mm Smith & Wesson, .308-caliber Ruger, .22-caliber Magnum Marlin and 12-gauge antique shotgun. The weapons are valued at $2,000. Firewood stolen: Jean Voelker, of 6900 Spruce St., Union, told Southwest Regional police Monday that cherry firewood was stolen from outside her home. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Missing person: Sonya Cox, 19, was reported missing Monday to Washington police. Her aunt, Jessica Hall, told city police that Cox cannot properly care for herself and could be in danger. Cox is white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 120 weighs pounds. She has blond hair, blue eyes, stars tattoed on her back, a butterfly tattoo on her leg and owns a brown winter coat.

Laptop stolen: James Kosek reported to city police that a laptop computer was stolen from his residence on the 900 block of Addison Street late Sunday night or early Monday morning. Police have identified a suspect.

Assault arrests: Gregg Hilverding, 56, of 66 Hedge Ave., West Bethlehem, and Betty Dee Shannon, 52, of 72 Willow Drive, Washington, each face charges after a domestic dispute at Hilverding’s home Monday night. State police said that Hilverding grabbed Shannon’s arm and twisted it. He also reportedly threatened her with a scalpel and knife and punched her. She reportedly pushed him. He was arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. He was laced in Washington County jail on $5,000. She will be charged with harassment by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Items stolen: John Francis of Beham Ridge Road, West Finley, told state police Dec. 11 that a television set and jewelry box were stolen in a burglary of his home.
