Faculty selects WCHS students of month
WAYNESBURG – Waynesburg Central High School seniors Carrigan Kiger and Eric Brownfield have been selected by the high school faculty as Waynesburg Lions Club’s students of the month for December.
Kiger, daughter of Robert and Marcie Kiger, Waynesburg, maintains a 3.85 grade-point average.
She is librarian of the choral union, vice president of the library service club, a member of the drama club and participates in track and field and powder puff football. She also is a three-year letterman in track and a two-year letterman in cross country.
Kiger plans to attend Baylor University or Kent State University and major in architectural/interior design.
Brownfield, son of Todd and Amy Brownfield, Waynesburg, maintains a 3.89 grade-point average.
He is a member of the National Honor Society and is a three-year letterman in cross country and a two-year letterman in track. He also participates in Relay for Life.
He is a member of the Oak View United Methodist Church where he is a member of the church youth group.
Brownfield plans to attend college and major in accounting.
