Theft: Employees at Greenery Specialty Care Center, 2200 Hill Church-Houston Road, reported the theft of narcotics Wednesday, Canonsburg police said. The incident remains under investigation.

Jailed over threat: David A. Jackson, 23, of 219 Crest Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with harassment, making terroristic threats, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of shoving his girlfriend, Amanda Billion, about 2:39 a.m. Thursday at their residence and later threatening to burn down their house, the affidavit indicates. Jackson is in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Theft case: Amber J. Owen, 30, of 601 1/2 Meadow Ave. is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. She is accused of stealing several pieces of jewelry from her mother, Linda Newstrom, and selling the items to a pawnshop between Dec. 10 and 16, the affidavit shows. Owen is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Crash: Jonathon Hootman, 34, of 27 Elm Leaf Drive, Burgettstown, was taken to Washington Hospital Tuesday for treatment after his vehicle crashed into the front of a home at 741 Western Ave. about 9:50 p.m., Chariters police said. Hootman’s vehicle and the home suffered severe damage. DUI charges are pending the results of a blood test, police said.

Burglary: Jeffrey Blood of 1452 E. Maiden St. reported $400 in cash and $90 in gift cards missing from his home Wednesday, South Strabane police said. Blood told police someone picked the lock on the front door of his residence.

Theft: Amy Berry of 464 Lone Pine Road reported her debit card missing and said several fraudulent charges had been made on it, South Strabane police reported. The card was canceled. An investigation is ongoing.

Criminal mischief: April Papp of 561 Locust St. told city police that two men attempted to enter her apartment Monday. Papp said she opened the door and the men ran, but not before one of them threw a brick through a window.

Criminal mischief: George Sadler of 57 McCarrell Ave. reported that the tires on the driver’s side of his vehicle were slashed Monday, city police said.

Disorderly conduct: Barron L. Johnson, 31, of 114 Glenn Ave., Washington, and Ashley Loar, 23, of 86 W. Wheeling St., Washington, were cited Tuesday for disorderly conduct after city police investigated reports of people using drugs inside the bathroom of Snowy White Laundry at 317 E. Maiden St. Johnson and Loar denied they were using drugs there. Johnson was arrested, cited and released. Loar will receive the charge by summons.
