Two men from Peters Township were among the licensed professionals against whom the state took disciplinary actions recently.

The Pennsylvania Department of State noted that Bryan E. Vogel of McMurray, a real estate salesman, was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,400 because he failed to complete 14 hours of continuing education in timely and acceptable courses, according to a Dec. 18 finding.

The Department of State also ordered Duane Richard Dishong of Venetia to pay a civil penalty of $3,500 and to take and complete a five-hour continuing education course on ethics because he used his seal to practice as a professional engineer when he was not currently licensed and registered.
