Central Greene Raiders Football Association will hold its registration for elementary football and cheerleading from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Waynesburg Central Elementary School.

CGRFA competes locally against Greene County teams. Students in first through sixth grades are eligible to sign up for the football program. Students in first through seventh grades are eligible to sign up for cheerleading.

The cost of participation is $45 for the first child and $35 for each sibling that registers. A copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of medical insurance are required. Included in the cost of football registration is each player’s fee to attend a professional, organized summer football camp. Registration for cheerleading includes professional instruction of choreographed routines.

Every child who signs up is guaranteed playing time in every game.

All officers and head coaches are required to have FBI, criminal and child abuse clearances. Assistant coaches must also present criminal and child abuse clearances. CGRFA is an independent association, not affiliated with Central Greene School District.
