Weapon charge: Tiffany Nicole Smith, 27, no address given, was charged with providing a weapon or implement for escape after she allegedly brought a pair of scissors into the Greene County jail Feb. 3. Smith concealed the scissors in her socks, police said. State police in Waynesburg filed the charges with District Judge Glenn Bates.

Card stolen: Sarah Denzer of Waynesburg reported her access card was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Rite Aid at 5 p.m. Feb. 3.
