Drug charge: Dominique Lee Simmons, 23, of Columbus, Ohio, was charged with drug possession and giving false identification to law enforcement Friday. Simmons was observed in front of the Lone Pine stop at 1748 Amity Ridge Road. State police said he had a small amount if marijuana and a large amount of cash. According to police, Simmons also provided a fictitious name. Charges will be filed with District Judge Ethan Ward, police said.

False reports: Franklin Evan Sebetich Jr., 35, of Bentleyville, was charged with making false reports to law enforcement authorities. Sebetich was stopped by state police from New Stanton Feb. 7 and a prescription medication was seized from his vehicle. A few hours later, Sebetich called the state police barracks in Washington to report his medication had been stolen.
