PITTSBURGH (AP) — Closing arguments are set in the trial of a Pittsburgh-area man who has been defending himself against charges he raped three women last year.

Because 39-nine-year-old Arthur Lamont Henderson refused to take the stand on Friday, he won’t be able to argue that the women consented to the sex — though Henderson strongly suggested that as he cross-examined his alleged victims last week.

Allegheny County prosecutors say the rapes occurred last January when Henderson allegedly attacked three women in as many days: two in Ross Township north of the city and a third in Hopewell Township.

Henderson has denied raping the women, though an expert says his DNA linked him to each of the crimes.

The closing arguments have been set for Monday.
