No injuries: Paul J. Hamm Jr., 28, of Dilliner, lost control of his vehicle at 5 p.m. Friday on Bobtown Road when he swerved to miss a deer. State police said Hamm’s vehicle left the road and struck two vehicles and a utility pole. Police did not say whether the two vehicles were occupied or parked at the time of the incident.
Pills stolen: State police said Charles Allen Stallman, 49, of 688 Taylortown Road, reported that while he was sleeping in his home at 3:30 a.m. Friday, an acquaintance stole Vicodin and Xanax from the pants he was wearing.
Harassment charge: State police are planning to file harassment and disorderly conduct charges against Bobbie Jo Ankrom of New Freeport following an incident at 12:50 a.m. Sunday. Police said Ankrom caused a disturbance by knocking on multiple doors at Mountain View Gardens and threatened to harm Erica Lynn Marshall of Waynesburg.
Drug charges: State police said Tammy Lynn Arthur, 43, of Waynesburg, was found to be in possession of 23 suspected bags of marijuana, along with numerous drug paraphernalia items, at 8:25 p.m. Friday at 311 Mountain View Gardens. Police said charges will be filed pending the receipt of a laboratory report.
DUI collision: State police said Leeann Fonner, 40, of Waynesburg, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, hit-and-run and numerous traffic violations following a rear-end collision at 7:47 p.m. Jan. 27 on Route 21 just west of Route 188. Police said a car driven by Roger Ely, 49, of Waynesburg, was stopped at a red light in the eastbound lane of Route 21 at Route 188. A car driven by Olia Murphy, 69, of Clarksville, was stopped behind Ely when Fonner’s vehicle struck the rear of Murphy’s car, which was pushed into Ely’s car. Police said Fonner fled but was located shortly after the crash at Tommy Boys tavern, where police said she was highly intoxicated.
Windshield damaged: Charles Artie Toland, 40, of Jefferson, told state police the windshield and driver’s side window of his GMC truck was damaged while it was parked at 201 Chartiers Road between 11:15 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
