Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Richard D. Watts, 27, of 210 Sumner Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged Oct. 28 for assaulting his girlfriend at 725 Fayette St., Washington; sentence – 3 to 6 months in jail.
Joshua R. Chambers, 24, of 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington; indecent assault; charged Nov. 25, 2011, for molesting a 14-year-old girl at a Wilson Road residence in Fallowfield Township; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail, ordered to complete sex offender counseling.
Mario A. Garcia, 44, of 218 First St., Bentleyville; first and second offenses of driving under the influence; charged March 31 after police found him sleeping in his vehicle at the corner of First and Spring streets in Bentleyville with a 0.164 percent blood-alcohol content; also charged Oct. 11 after police found him unconscious in a vehicle parked at a gas station in Bentleyville; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, 12-month driver’s license suspension, $1,500 fine.
Christopher D. Thomas Jr., 18, of 219 Ridge Ave., Apt. 3, Washington; criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, two counts of receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude police; charged Aug. 11 following a car chase with police starting at North Central Avenue in Canonsburg; also charged Aug. 15 for robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in front of 1139 Arch St., Washington; sentence – 18 to 36 months in prison followed by 12 months of probation, ordered to pay $74 restitution.
Ginger Ford, 41, of 595 Penn Ave., Washington; access device fraud; charged May 30 for making unauthorized purchases using the bank card stolen from a Canonsburg residence where she was employed as an in-home caretaker; sentence – 3 years of probation, ordered to pay $3,600 in restitution.
Chad M. Thomas, 38, of 307 Cedarwood Apartments, Carmichaels; possession with intent to deliver, false identification to law enforcement; charged following a traffic stop Aug. 18 in the 200 block of 10th Street in Donora; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail.
Scott A. Rolf, 42, of Clarksville; possession of drug paraphernalia, theft; charged following a traffic stop Aug. 30 in the 400 block of Spring Street in Richeyville; also charged for stealing items March 3, 2011, from a Lincoln Street property in Cokeburg that had been burned in a fire; sentence – 18 months of probation.
Dontrell L. Pratt, 19, of 339 Central Ave., Washington; firearms not to be carried without a license; charged July 2 at the 7th Ward Playground in Washington; sentence – 9 months to 23 months in jail.
Clyde Stewart, 44, of Washington; firearms not to be carried without a license; charged Sept. 1 in the 100 block of Maple Avenue in Washington; sentence – 11 ½ to 23 months in jail.
Timothy M. Gump, 47, of 780 Ridge Ave., Canonsburg; simple assault; charged for assaulting a man July 29 in the parking lot of Shop ‘n Save on West Pike Street in Canonsburg; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Warren M. Sadler, 49, of 609 Buena Vista St., Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged April 8 after he was found to be in possession of a small bag of cocaine at his residence; sentence – 8 months of probation.
Victor S. Dix, 27, of 1522 Amity Ridge Road, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged following a traffic stop Oct. 27 along Cleveland Road in North Franklin Township; sentence – 12 months of probation without verdict.
Jeanna Main, 30, of 209 South Central Ave., Apt. B, Canonsburg; possession of a controlled substance; charged after police stopped her in front of her residence Nov. 15 and found her to be in possession of heroin; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Timothy Work, 22, of 35 Highland Ridge Road, Marianna; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; charged following a traffic stop Dec. 14 on Crawford Road near Lawrence Avenue in East Bethlehem Township; sentence – 30 days to 12 months in jail.
James W. Gray, 35, of 1618 Diamond Street, Moundsville, W.Va.; retail theft, criminal trespass; charged for stealing merchandise Dec. 26 from the Trinity Point Walmart in South Strabane Township; sentence – 1 to 12 months in jail.
Malinda A. Griffith, 35, of 4116 Kennywood Blvd., Duquesne; theft; charged for stealing several items Sept. 17 from a residence at 1026 Fourth St. Ext., Charleroi; sentence – 23 months of probation with the first 3 months on intensive supervision, ordered to pay $180 in restitution.
Derek J. Andrews, 29, of 209 South Central Ave., Apt. B, Canonsburg; possession of a controlled substance; charged after police stopped him in front of his residence Nov. 15 and found him to be in possession of heroin; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Terry Cox, 52, of 710 Michigan Ave., Apt. 1, Washington; retail theft; charged for stealing merchandise Nov. 24 from the Trinity Point Walmart in South Strabane Township; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Leah R. Cox, 31, of 37 Rural Ave., Washington; retail theft; charged for stealing merchandise Nov. 24 from the Trinity Point Walmart in South Strabane Township; sentence – 23 months of intensive probation with the first 3 months on electronic home monitoring.
Keith N. Montgomery, 32, of 9 Patsch St., Houston; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged following a traffic stop Oct. 8 on Main Street at McCarrell Road in Mt. Pleasant Township; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Robert C. Corbett Jr., 22, of 205 Chess St., Apt. 2, Monongahela; six counts of burglary; charged for burglarizing several residences in Carroll Township and Monongahela in August; sentence – 36 to 72 months in prison.
James Cowart, 31, of 812 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi; retail theft; charged for stealing a two-liter bottle of soda Nov. 7 from the Mini Mart on Lincoln Avenue in Charleroi; sentence – 3 years of probation.
Matthew Dixon, 27, of 111 Old Oak Road, McMurray; second offense of DUI; charged after police found him passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle Dec. 4, 2011, in the 200 block of Waterdam Road, McMurray, with a BAC of 0.173 percent; sentence – 5 days to 6 months in jail, $300 fine.
Damien R. Harris, 29, of 405 Crest Ave., Charleroi; simple assault, possession of a controlled substance; charged for striking his mother in the head June 2 at their residence; 18 months of probation with the first 3 months on intensive supervision.
Erica L. Henry, 30, of 104 Railroad Ave., Carnegie; first offense of DUI; charged following a traffic stop May 15 in the 2800 block of Washington Road in McMurray for having a BAC of 0.214 percent; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 3 to 12 months with the first 90 days on SCRAM-X, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension.
Gary L. McDonald, 43, of 1864 Jefferson Avenue, Washington; first and second offenses of DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged following a traffic stop April 26 along East Belmont Avenue in Canton Township for having a BAC of 0.248 percent; also charged following a traffic stop June 16 in the 100 block of North Main Street in Washington for having a BAC of 0.130 percent; sentence – 120 days to 18 months in jail, $3,450 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
Justin P. Smith, 27, of 1200 Reservoir Ave., Monessen; simple assault; charged for assaulting a co-worker May 24 at Regal Industry, 98 E. First St., Donora; sentence – 6 to 23 months confinement with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, ordered to pay $283 in restitution.
Dustin Durbin, 24, of 111 Maple Terrace, Washington; second offense of DUI, driving on a suspended license; charged following an ATV crash April 15 on Pleasant Grove Road in East Finley Township for having a BAC of 0.15 percent; 180 days to 6 months in jail, $1,750 fine, 12-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.

Brenda S. Horne, 49, of 126 Ferry Ave., Millsboro; second offense of DUI; charged following a traffic stop Feb. 25 on Route 88 near Ferry Ave., in East Bethlehem Township for having a BAC of 0.303 percent; sentence – 90 days to 12 months in jail, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month ignition interlock.
Appearing before President Judge Debbie O’Dell Seneca was:
John E. Danko Jr., 31, of West Brownsville; first offense of DUI; charged following a crash Jan. 10, 2012, on Route 40 in Centerville for having a BAC of 0.146 percent; sentence – 30 days to 6 months of probation with the first 30 days on SCRAM-X.
