A wind advisory is in effect for all of Southwestern Pennsylvania until 1 p.m. today. Winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected through late morning as a front passes through the area, the National Weather Service said.

Rain may turn to a mix of rain and snow between noon and 1 p.m., and there is a chance of snow in the afternoon with temperatures falling to around 31 by 5 p.m.. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
