Snow could bring brief white-outs

Brief white-out conditions are possible this afternoon as numerous bands of snow showers move across the area. The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement advising that visibility could drop to near zero in the heavier snow showers. The most intense bands could bring a quick inch of snow accumulation in less than one hour and make roads slippery.
