Trailers entered: Two trailers on Consol Energy property in East Finley were entered Saturday or Sunday and items including hand tools, laser levels and building tools were stolen, state police said. The stolen items were owned by Mike Dover Corp.
Woman charged: Hollie Alicia Rodgers, 32, of 94 Profio Road, McDonald, was charged by McDonald police with retail theft and receiving stolen property in connection with a Feb. 6 theft at Giant Eagle. She is accused of stealing DVDs valued at more than $200 from the store. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Valarie Costanzo.
Burglary reported: Patricia Ann Crothers of 106 Mancha St., North Bethlehem, told state police Thursday that cash and costume jewelry were stolen when her home was entered through an unlocked window.
Asleep on lawn: The operators of the Trio Lounge, 1694 N. Main St., will be cited by South Strabane police with disorderly conduct as a nuisance bar after Shad Burgess, 28, of 280 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Chartiers Township, was found asleep on the front lawn of the bar early Saturday. Police said it was their third call to the bar in three weeks. Burgess also will be charged with public drunkenness.
Theft charges: Robert L. Gibson, 31, of Grindstone, will be charged by South Strabane police with retail theft and theft by deception. He is accused of stealing two items valued at about $96 from Walmart, Trinity Point, Jan. 31 and then returning the items the following day for a gift card. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Employee faces charge: Mercedes M. Hull, 20, of 133 Hall Ave., Washington, will be charged by South Strabane police with retail theft for allegedly stealing jewelry, candy, a purse and clothing valued at $198.98 while working at Target, Strabane Square, earlier this year. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
