Bridge, sign inspections to affect Parkway traffic

Work to inspect overhead bridges and signs on the Parkway West (Interstate 376) in Allegheny County will occur Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
Single-lane closures will occur as needed from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in the outbound lanes between the Fort Pitt Tunnel and Banksville Road and between the Greentree and Carnegie exits.
On Sunday, work will be in the same locations on the inbound side. Work near the tunnel will continue until 2 p.m.
Crews from HDR Engineering, Markosky Engineering and the Sofis Company will conduct the work.
