Church to begin support group

Jefferson Baptist Church, 179 Pine St., Jefferson, will begin monthly support group meetings for friends and relatives of those who suffer from substance abuse of any kind.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 8 in the church basement. The meetings will take place the second Tuesday of every month at the same time and in the same place.
At this meeting, people can talk to others who are struggling with how to deal with their loved ones who are addicted to alcohol or drugs.
