Jailed in assault: Tommy West, 45, of Washington, is charged with five counts each of simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment over allegations he abused Kimberly Redd over the past month at 747 Amity Ridge Road, state police said. West is in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Friday by District Judge Ethan Ward.

DONEGAL

Theft, criminal mischief: An NEK Vending machine was broken into and $500 was stolen between 4:30 and 6:26 a.m. Saturday at the Claysville Welcome Center along Interstate 70, state police said. The machine sustained $500 in damages, police said.

FALLOWFIELD

Liquor law charge: JEM Lounge Inc., 164 Coyle-Curtin Road, has been charged by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with allowing employees and customers to smoke in the building and serving a customer more than 192 fluid ounces of malt or brewed beverages for consumption off premises on various dates between July 21 and Nov. 10, the agency said.
