Numerous people recently appeared on criminal charges in Washington County Court.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Cody Kimmel, 19, of 612 St. Nicholas Drive, Donora; false identification to law enforcement; charged for falsely identifying himself to police during an incident Aug. 7 in the 200 block of Sixth Street in Donora; sentence – 12 months of probation, ordered to complete 25 hours of community service.

Kenneth P. Ferguson, 40, of Donora; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 16 after he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at his ex-girlfriend’s residence in Donora; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 12 months with the first 2 months in jail followed by 3 months of intensive supervision.

Richard L. Gump, 46, of Reeseman’s Mobile Home Park in Waynesburg; theft; conspiracy to commit theft; charged for stealing cash Jan. 8, 2012, from a register at the Antique Junction, 2475 Washington Road, North Strabane Township; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 18 months with the first 30 days in jail followed by 90 days on intensive supervision, ordered to pay $200 in restitution.

Clyde W. Shaver, 41, of 890 W. Finley Road, West Finley; first offense of driving under the influence, false reports, accidents involving damage; charged following a one-vehicle crash July 26 along Beham Ridge Road near Walnut Valley Road in West Finley Township; his blood-alcohol content was 0.123 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail followed with 12 months of probation with orders to be paroled at the minimum, $500 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Dean McCallum, age unavailable, of 121 North Central Ave., Apt. 802, Canonsburg; bad checks; charged for writing a bad check April 13 to Jefferson Auto Inc., 879 Jefferson Ave., Washington; sentence – 18 months of probation with the first 90 days on intensive supervision, ordered to pay $525 in restitution.

Cori L. Scott, 22, of 126 Fourth St., Waynesburg; retail theft; charged for stealing a video game console Sept. 15 from the Trinity Point GameStop in South Strabane Township; sentence – 18 months of probation with the first 90 days on intensive supervision, ordered to pay $130 in restitution.

James W. Harris, 28, address unavailable; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged after police found him to be in possession of a glass pipe May 22 in the 1100 block of Jefferson Avenue in Washington while investigating a separate incident; sentence – 12 months of probation.

William H. Blangger, 80, of 35 Walnut St., Carroll Township; indecent assault of a person with a mental disability; charged April 8 for molesting a female with a mental disability at his residence; sentence – 3 years of probation, ordered to complete sex offender counseling.

Amy R. Hull, 31, of 432 Liberty Ave., Donora; third offense of DUI, driving on a suspended license; charged for driving with a BAC of 0.255 percent following a traffic stop Feb. 20 near the Donora-Monessen Bridge in Donora; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 90 days on SCRAM-X and the first year on electronic home monitoring; $2,700 fine, 100 hours of community service.

Eric K. Rager, 30, of 115 Teece Ave., Pittsburgh; theft; charged for stealing scrap metal March 13 from a property in the 200 block of McChain Road in Union Township; sentence – 12 months of probation, ordered to pay $300 in restitution.

Harold L. Fields, 21, of 464 Idlewild Road, Pittsburgh; terroristic threats, simple assault; charged Sept. 14, 2011, for discharging a firearm and pursing his ex-girlfriend while stating that he would shoot her following a fight at an Eleanor Street residence in Langeloth; sentence – 12 months of probation, ordered to complete domestic violence counseling.

Curtis L. Davis, 24, of 802 Park Manor, Monessen; possession of a controlled substance; charged Feb. 16 after police found cocaine in his vehicle while it was parked at the Sunoco gas station on First Street in Charleroi; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Charles R. Riggs III, 24, of 470 McElree Road, Washington; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, firearms not to be carried; charged May 22 following a probation check at a Katherine Avenue residence in Washington; sentence – 2 years to 4 years in prison.

Numerous people were recently admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first-time offenders. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to expunge their records.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

Jillian L. Debusk, 31, of 16 Pickwick Road, Newton, Mass., was admitted for 12 months for DUI and received a 60-day driver’s license suspension. She was charged Dec. 19, 2011, following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near the Jefferson Avenue junction in Washington after driving the wrong way with a BAC of 0.197 percent.

John M. Jannotta, 61, of 526 Fallowfield Ave., Apt. 4, Charleroi, was admitted for 12 months for DUI. He was charged for driving with a BAC of 0.082 percent following a traffic stop May 8 in the 500 block of Washington Avenue in Charleroi.

Appearing before Judge Janet Moschetta Bell were:

Jason W. Taylor, 33, of 65 Karen Drive, Washington, was admitted for 12 months for theft and ordered to pay $127 in restitution. He was charged for stealing a window from his former employer, Maple Mountain Equipment, 910 Henderson Ave., Canton Township, and selling it to a customer in March 2011.

Keith W. Boyd, 43, of 84 Hazelwood Drive, Washington, was admitted for 12 months for terroristic threats and harassment and ordered to attend anger-management classes. He was charged Aug. 10 for threatening to shoot people at a Main Street bar in Hickory after he was told to stop calling.

Courtney Domachowski, 23, of 160 Pointe View Drive, Canton Township, was admitted for 12 months for theft and ordered to pay $624 restitution. She was charged Aug. 30 for stealing jewelry from her mother at their residence in July.

Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:

Kayla A. Hixon, 24, of 1067 Pike Run Drive, Coal Center, was admitted for 24 months for theft and ordered to pay $2,200 in restitution and to complete 100 hours of community service. She was charged March 15 for stealing money from her former employer, Kwik Fill gas station, 350 Third St., California Borough.

Donna MacDonald, 49, of 63 Beech St., Muse, was admitted for 24 months for fraudulently obtaining food stamps and ordered to pay $3,443 in restitution. She was charged for unlawfully obtaining food stamps by misrepresenting her wages between April 2010 and February 2011.

Richard A. Edwards III, 24, of 229 Parker St., Houston, was admitted for 24 months for theft and ordered to pay $13,291 in restitution and to complete 25 hours of community service. He was charged for trying to steal a motorcycle March 17 from a parking garage at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in North Strabane Township.

Garth J. Haney, 50, of 14 Galeton Drive, Donora, was admitted for 9 months for simple assault. He was charged for striking a man in the nose March 3 for not giving him a cigarette at a Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services site in Donora.
