A Monongahela man accused of having inappropriate contact with two girls, ages 5 and 9, last year waived his case to court Wednesday.

Ronald L. Gray, 46, of 517 Hudson St., waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and having obscene materials. A charge of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse was withdrawn during the proceeding in Central Court before District Judge David Mark. Charges were filed in December by Monongahela police.

As part of waiving the hearing, Gray’s bond was reduced to a $50,000 percentage bond with conditions that he have no contact with the alleged victims or anyone under the age of 18.
