CARMICHAELS – Have you ever wanted to use a computer but don’t know where to begin? Maybe you want to learn a new program for work.

Call the Flenniken Public Library and sign up for a free computer class. The library offers hands-on computer training. Since space is limited, you must register by calling 724-966-5263, or stopping by the library.

The computer classes are from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays.

• Using a mouse, Jan. 30 – Learn how to manipulate a mouse and some of the keyboard keys. It should be taken before any other class, unless the participant has prior computer experience.

• Microsoft Vista, Feb. 6 – Learn how to use the basics of Microsoft Vista.

• Microsoft Word 2007, Feb. 13 – Learn how to use word to write letters and reports.

• Beginning Internet, Feb. 20 – Learn how to get online and find the information you need.

The library will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The library hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Renew books, place holds and do research on the library’s website: www.flenniken.org.
