Throckmorton United Methodist Church, Eastview, will hold a community dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will include chili, chicken noodle soup, vegetable soup, hot dogs, desserts and beverages. Takeouts are available. The dinner is free. Donations are accepted.

Carmichaels Senior Activity Center will host a Valentine’s Dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 15. The dance will feature the band Outpost, and the event is open to the public. The cost of admission is $7.
