Canton store robbed

Two men, one armed with a knife and the other with a baseball bat, robbed Isaly’s convenience store, 2400 Jefferson Ave., Canton Township, Monday night.

State police said the two men entered the store about 11:10 p.m. One brandished a black metal baseball bat with white and pink graphics on it. The other had a fillet knife.

The one with the knife jumped over the counter and grabbed the money tray from the cash register. He then placed the tray on the counter while the other robber shoved the money into his black hooded shirt and pants pockets.

The two men fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Both robbers are white and in their late teens. They are described as skinny, weighing 130 to 150 pounds and being 5 feet, 4 inches, to 5 feet, 7 inches, tall. They were both dressed in black.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
