A head-on crash just before midnight Saturday on Route 837 in Carroll Township near the Monongahela city line ended with the arrest of one woman and charges pending against two men.

A vehicle driven by Clint Beauchamp, 35, of 21 Pearl Alley, Monongahela, was driving south when his vehicle crossed the center line, striking a northbound vehicle driven by Brian Ludwick, 23, of 791 E. Main St., Monongahela.

Ludwick, along with a passenger, Amber Hambury, 23, of Jefferson Hills, were injured and taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment. Beauchamp was taken to the hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his alcohol level.

Monongahela police were assisting at the scene when Donna Yocolano, 52, of 825 E. Main St., Monongahela, approached the crash.

Police said the road was blocked in both directions when Yocolano allegedly tried to wave another vehicle to approach the scene. Monongahela police could smell an odor of alcohol and told the driver to put the vehicle in park. The driver, whose identity was not immediately available, tried to flee and almost struck city police Officer Ryan Lenzi. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunken driving.

Yocolano, who refused to leave the scene, was arrested by Monongahela police after she allegedly pushed Officer Lindsi Kopko. She reportedly struggled with Kopko and Lenzi as they tried to take her into custody.

Yocolano was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of resisting arrest, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing administration of law. She was placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
