Two face assault charges: Susan Mudrey, 35, of California, and Jerrid Powell, 33, of Monongahela, each face charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic Thursday morning at a home on Boulder Avenue, California police said. Powell was arraigned on the charges before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. Mudrey was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police will obtain a warrant for her arrest.

Teens cited: A 15-year-old Coal Center girl and 17-year-old Brownsville boy were cited early Saturday by California police for violating the borough’s curfew after they were found at Rotary Park. The boy will also be charged with summary traffic violations.

Mischief charge: Trevor Wolfe, 22, of Washington, will be charged by state police with criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a van owned by Morgan Prigg of Washington with a baseball bat Monday while the van was parked at 172 Prigg Road, Canton.

Copper stolen: Copper was stolen from the construction site of the new Mylan headquarters, 109 Mylan Boulevard, Southpointe, police said. A 2,000-watt generator, valued at $1,000, also was stolen. Locks were cut from trailers and 7,380 feet of Romex copper was removed inside and ouside of the construction area. police said. The copper is valued at $2,675. The theft was reported at 8:19 a.m. Tuesday, and the items are owned by Lighthouse Electric.

Two charged: Vincent Sacco, 28, of 203 Glenn Springs Circle, Canonsburg, and Melissa L. Comer, 31, of 109 Penn Ave., Bentleyville, were each charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft. They were reportedly found with the paraphernalia after the were caught stealing items valued at $82 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on Jan. 18. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Retail theft charge: William Bayly, 19, of Barnesville, Ohio, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with misdemeanor retail theft for allegedly stealing $259 in items from Walmart, Trinity Point, on Jan. 18. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
