The Observer-Reporter has instituted a paywall for its website.
Visitors will be able to view a limited number of pages per month for free, and then will have to pay for anything beyond that. After that threshhold has been reached, a window will appear, prompting you to “Sign up” or “Log in.”
Current subscribers to the Observer-Reporter’s print edition will continue to have free access to the newspaper’s website and electronic edition. Subscribers will need to verify account information by clicking “Print” or “E-Edition Activation” in the lower left area of the box, and providing the last name, phone number and ZIP code. The last step is to create a new user account by supplying a first name, last name email and creating a password.
To become an all-access subscriber, email subscriber@observer-reporter.com or call 724-222-2201.
