SPRINGDALE (AP) – Police say a fisherman’s body was found Monday evening in the Allegheny River near Pittsburgh.

Tarentum police Chief Bill Vakulick says it appears no foul play was involved in the death of 67-year-old Donald Duncan, of Tarentum.

Duncan was last seen fishing just before 11 p.m. Sunday. Vakulick says Duncan had been drinking and fishing with a friend who left to pick up supplies. The friend told police he returned about 11:30 p.m. and Duncan was gone.

Boaters at the Springdale Marina found the body wedged between a boat and a dock about 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office says an autopsy will be conducted Tuesday.
