Erica Johnson, who graduated as salutatorian in the 2013 class at Jefferson-Morgan High School, was awarded the $1,000 Michelle McMillen Memorial Scholarship, one of two $1,000 Renardo A. Matteucci Family Scholarships.

Johnson, daughter of Curtis and Angie Johnson of Clarksville, also received the $500 Natalie Franks Memorial Scholarship and a $500 California University of Pennsylvania school district scholarship sponsored by Consol Energy.

She was a member of the National Honor Society, marching band, concert band, chorus, the Greene County Chorus and the foreign language club.

Johnson will attend Califonia University of Pennsylvania in the fall where she will major in elementary education.
