Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today on East Street between High and Liberty streets in Waynesburg Borough to upgrade the system. Customers may experience low pressure or no water and are advised to keep some containers of water to minimize the outage.

Friends of Ryerson Station State Park will have a lunch and bake sale on the steps of the Greene County courthouse beginning at 8 a.m. Friday. There will be homemade ham or chicken salad on a croissant, coleslaw, potato salad, beverages and various baked goods.

Warrior Trail Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. June 20 at the Warrior Trail headquarters in Fordyce. Jim McNutt, a photographer with the Observer Reporter, will draw from his collection of thousands of news photograph to present a humorous program about the things he has experienced in his 43 years covering local news.
