J-M grad awarded Sisler scholarship
The Barry Sisler Memorial Scholarship was presented to Alexis Starostanko at the Jefferson-Morgan Awards Banquet.
This scholarship was established by friends of Barry Sisler to be awarded to an outstanding senior from Jefferson-Morgan who will be attending California University of Pennsylvania. Sisler was an alumnus of Jefferson-Morgan and California University of Pennsylvania.
Starostanko is a daughter of Mark Starostanko and the granddaughter of Albert and Norma Starostanko of Clarksville. While at Jefferson-Morgan, she served as president of the band, was a student office aide and was a member of the volleyball team, drama club, chorus and concert band.
Starostanko will attend California University of Pennsylvania in the fall, where she will major in business management.
