Washington Road work planned

Work to improve Washington Road and Connor/Gilkeson Road in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, will continue this weekend, weather permitting.
Work will occur from 6 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Monday.
Southbound Washington Road (Route 19) will be reduced to a single lane between Cochran Road and Connor/Gilkeson.
Crews will be milling and paving Cochran between Florida Avenue and Washington. Traffic will be restricted to two lanes, one in each direction, during the work.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in both directions around the clock on both Connor and Gilkeson. The left travel lane on Connor will be closed in both directions from Washington Road to East Terrace Drive/Sun Ridge Road.
The left travel lane on Gilkeson will be closed in both directions from Washington to near Old Gilkeson Road.
