Man injured: Samuel J. Falcon, 28, of Prosperity, was critically injured about 7 p.m. Friday when he lost control of a dirt bike in the 400 block of McKee Road and it struck a tree, state police said. Falcon, who was not wearing a helmet, faces charges in connection with the accident, police said. He was flown to Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Crash victims identified: State police Saturday identified those injured a day earlier in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 79 south as Brittney Jarrett, 25, and Steven Jarrett, 4, both of Morgantown, W.Va. The highway’s southbound lanes in that area were closed for nearly an hour after the woman lost control of her vehicle about 4:45 p.m. and it rolled over. Police said their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
