Pennsylvania American Water announced power was restored to the Becks Run Pumping Station and a conservation notice issued earlier today has been lifted. The raw water river intake pumping facility had experienced a loss of power this morning. Customers can return to normal use of water service.

Customers in higher elevation areas might have experienced low water pressure and/or cloudy water during the incident. If you experience cloudy water, run the faucets for a few minutes until the water runs clear.

For more information, contact Pennsylvania American Water’s customer call center at 1-800-565-7292, or log on to the company’s website at www.pennsylvaniaamwater.com, select Alert Notifications, as well as Facebook and Twitter.
