Numerous people recently appeared before visiting Washington County Judge Edward Borkowski on criminal charges. Appearing were:

Harley P. Clement, 38, of 740 1/2 Donnan Ave., Washington; forgery, access device fraud; charged Jan. 20 for taking and cashing four checks belonging to BAC Trucking between Jan. 13 and 17, using the company fuel card to purchase fuel; sentence – 23 months of probation, 100 hours community service.

Christopher S. Patterson, 28, of 253 Reed Ave., Houston; disorderly conduct, possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged Aug. 25 for creating a disturbance in the 100 block of Murdock St., Canonsburg, and having marijuana on his person; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Shannon M. Rush, 26, of 253 Reed Ave., Houston; burglary; charged Oct. 18, 2011, for stealing items from a vacant residence in West Finley; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail, 3 months of home monitoring with work release, restitution.

Eric J. Wozniak, 44, of 48 Pearl Avenue Extension, Monongahela; second offense of driving under the influence; charged May 1 following a traffic stop on Route 136; sentence – 6 to 18 months in jail, 6 months of home monitoring with the first 30 days on SCRAM with work release, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension.

Anthony M. Vanhorn, 28, of 80 Reliance Drive, Wilkes-Barre; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 8 while a passenger in a vehicle parked in McDonald; sentence – 90 days of probation.

Chauncy McKnight, 20, of 606 Arbor, Verona; possession with intent to deliver, driving with a suspended license; charged Dec. 30 after dropping three stamp bags of heroin in front of an officer following a traffic stop in Washington; 4 to 23 months in jail, $200 fine.

Ashley Paith-Nelson, 29, of 466 Ewing St., Washington; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged July 4 following a traffic stop in Washington; sentence – 30 days of probation.

Joshua A. Hilker, 22, of 302 Rosewood Drive, McDonald; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 11 while parked in a lot at Southpointe; placed in the Probation Without Verdict program. for 6 months

Jodie Rhodes, 43, of 276 Maple Ridge Road, Canonsburg; possession of a controlled substance; charged April 21, 2012, following a traffic stop in North Strabane Township; placed in the Probation Without Verdict program for 6 months.

Numerous people appeared recently before Washington County Judge Katherine Emery on criminal charges. Appearing were:

Eric Yakubik, 35, of 665 Thompson Ave., Donora; theft by deception; charged with cashing an altered check on June 26 at Giant Eagle, Bentleyville; sentence – 12 months of probation, $1,900 restitution.

David A. Bardella, 27, of 902 Anne Ave., Charleroi; theft; charged Feb. 22 for theft of jewelry from his sister from 902 Anne Ave., Upper Speers; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail, no contact with victim, $9,115 restitution.

Randolph T. Lewis Jr., 41, of 100 S. Franklin St., Apt. 508, Washington; terroristic threats; charged May 2 for threatening his daughter on the phone; sentence – 3 to 23 months jail with first 3 months on home monitoring.

Marvelle M. Robinson, 32, of 246 North Ave., Apt. 2, Washington; retail theft; charged July 24 for stealing and attempting to return $267 worth of merchandise from Walmart, Trinity Point; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Robert E. Snatchko Jr., 54, of 197 Redwood Drive, Oakdale; simple assault, criminal mischief; charged Nov. 15, 2011, for driving his vehicle into Vasko Dodge, 3644 Washington Road, McMurray; sentence – 23 months probation, 100 hours of community service, $127 restitution, anger management counseling.

Kayla D. Willis, 23, of 1062 McKean Ave., Donora; simple assault, criminal mischief; charged Oct. 8 for assaulting a woman at her Donora home after breaking down her door; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, 6 months on home monitoring, no contact with victim.

Leslie D. Molinaro, 47, of 990 Broad St., Washington; possession of a controlled substance; charged Nov. 2 in Washington after police received information from Washington County adult probation; sentence – 10 months of probation.

John T. Grimes Jr., 32, of 360 Bunola River Road, Bunola; theft; charged for stealing an employee’s keys from Sheetz in Monongahela; sentence – 12 months probation, restitution of $202.

Renee L. Daugherty, 35, of 780 Allison Ave., Washington; retail theft; charged June 26 for stealing items from Shop ‘n Save, Washington; sentence – 12 month of probation.

Michael McCartney, 23, of 541 E. National Pike, Washington; corruption of minors; charged for smoking marijuana with a juvenile Dec. 20 at his home; sentence – 12 months of probation.

John Koster, 18, of 1010 Upper Meadow Ave., Charleroi; simple assault; charged Jan. 23 for shoving a girl at the Charleroi High School cafeteria; sentence – 12 months of probation, anger management counseling.

Mandee M. Zarvis, 35, of 31 Stonecrest Lane, Cecil; simple assault, criminal mischief; charged May 13 after striking a car with a steel pipe several times in a parking lot in McDonald; sentence – 12 months of probation, anger management counseling, 25 hours of community service, no contact, $1,401 in restitution.

Thomas A. Wormsley, 43, of 515 Dennson St., Clarksburg, W.Va.; DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Jan. 29, 2012, following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in South Strabane Township, with alcohol and controlled substances present in his blood test results; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,200 fine, one-year license suspension.

Chauncey Butler, 63, of 1144 South Ave., Wilkinsburg; possession of firearm prohibited; charged Sept. 14, 2010, for shooting a pistol at 132 Lakeview Drive, McMurray; sentence – 3 years of probation.

Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program they can petition the court to have their record expunged. Admitted were:

George M. Godfrey, 21, of 84 Ames Road, Bentleyville, was admitted for 12 months for fleeing or attempting to elude police after a chase Aug. 29 while driving a motorcycle in Ellsworth.

Lisa Murphy, 44, of 1354 Fayette Ave., Donora, was admitted for 12 months for hindering apprehension in connection with an Oct. 5 incident in Donora.

Jennifer A. Peterson, 38, of 106 McBurney Road, Canonsburg, was admitted for 12 months for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment stemming from an incident Sept. 17 at her home.

Christina Louk, 33, of 124 Cherry St., Canonsburg, was admitted for 6 months for retail theft, charged Jan. 21 at Walmart at Trinity Point.

The following people were admitted to the ARD program for 12 months for first offenses of DUI. They were:
