Canonsburg sets street-cleaning schedule

Canonsburg Borough will begin daily cleaning of its streets March 18, and residents are reminded that all vehicles must be removed from parking areas and curbside at designated times.
According to street commissioner Chester Osiecki, cleaning of the business area will be conducted from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The daily 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. scheduled is: the North Side, which includes all paved streets from Pike Street north between Euclid and North Jefferson Avenues, on Mondays; the South Side, paved streets south of Chartiers Creek, on Tuesdays; the West End from Jefferson Avenue west and from the railroad tracks north, on Wednesdays; the East End, from Craighead Street east and from Adams Avenue north, on Thursdays; and Apple Hill and McCuen Heights on Fridays.
