Attempted theft: A copper ground wire from an electric meter behind Shear Expressions Hair Salon on South Market Street was cut about 7:55 p.m. Feb. 18., state police in Waynesburg said.

Burglary: Amber Graham of Lot 3 Riveria Motor Home Park said a laptop computer was stolen from her trailer between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday. The computer was recovered at a pawn shop in Brownsville, police reported.

Criminal mischief: Clinton Lee Hanlan, 18, of Dunkard Township, was charged with criminal mischief after allegedly damaging his mother’s vehicle while it was parked outside 132 Bunner Hill Road at 3 a.m. Friday.

Charged: Three teenage boys were charged Friday after they found allegedly smoking marijuana outside the Greene County Vocational and Technical School at 10:15 a.m. State police said the 15-year-old will be charged with possession of marijuana. The 16- and 17-year-old boys will be charged with disorderly conduct.
