Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.

Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:

James M. Large Jr., 20, of 1319 Corrin Ave., Monongahela; theft; charged for stealing a car involved in an accident July 3 in the 400 block of Second Street, Monongahela; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, $3,864 in restitution.

Timothy Jindra, 38, of 3458 Fawn Valley Drive, Finleyville; burglary, theft, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment; charged Sept. 1 following a burglary at 610 Thomas Road, Eighty Four; sentence – 3 to 6 years in a state prison, restitution to be determined.

Steven F. Macauley, 27, of 103 W. Lincoln Ave., Apt. 12, McDonald; criminal trespass, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 1 after entering a secured laundry room and stealing items owned by tenant of 103 O’Hara St., Apt. 1, McDonald; charged June 13 after a search of his residence; sentence – 23 months of high-impact supervision, restitution to be determined.

Teddy C. Szalla, 25, of 1155 Thomas Ave., Pittsburgh; retail theft; charged Dec. 7 for stealing a 7-inch Craig Notebook valued at $129 from RiteAid, Peters Township; sentence – 12 months of probation, first three months on impact supervision.

Sherri L. Stiffler, 37, of 678 W. Wylie Ave., Washington, second offense of driving under the influence; charged Aug. 17 following a one-vehicle crash into a telephone pole on Jefferson Avenue, Washington; sentence – 6 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program, with first 30 days on electronic home monitoring with work release; 12-month license suspension, $500 fine.

Timothy Beckham, 25, of 3420 Hazelhurst Ave., Pittsburgh; second offense of DUI; charged Aug. 5 after police found him sleeping in his running vehicle in Hanover Township with a blood alcohol content of 0.16 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $500 fine.

Billie J. Michtak, 44, of 234 Hart St., Houston; first offense of DUI, driving with a suspended license; charged Sept. 1 following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 at the Racetrack Road Exit with a BAC of 0.18 percent; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $1,200 fine.

Amber L. Eckels, 32, of 36 Adams St., Cokeburg; second offense of DUI, driving without a license; charged Sept. 2 following a traffic accident in the 200 block of Bentley Avenue, Bentleyville; sentence – 6 months of IPP, with first 2 months on electronic home monitoring and first 30 days on SCRAM-X, 12-month license suspension, $775 fine.

Victoria L. Pierce, 56, of 206 Ridgeview Drive, Venetia; first offense of DUI; charged July 4 following a traffic stop at Wilhaven Drive and Center Church Road, Peters Township, with a BAC of 0.203 percent; sentence – 6 months of IPP, with the first 10 days on home monitoring with work release, $1,000 fine.

Justin R. Munns, 32, of 1296 Lakemont Drive, Pittsburgh; second offense of DUI, driving over a divider; charged May 31 following a traffic stop on Route 19 at Demar Boulevard in North Strabane Township with a BAC of 0.185 percent; sentence – 18 months of IPP, with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and first 90 days on SCRAM-X, $1,525 fine.

Michael K. Strejcek, 29, of 107 Pittsburgh Road, Bentleyville; second offense of DUI; charged April 14 following a traffic stop at the intersection of Beallsville Road and Main Street, Bentleyville, and refusing chemical testing; sentence – 18 months of IPP, first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and first 2 months on SCRAM-X, $1,500 fine.

Donovan G. Hess, 24, of 2708 Forest St., McKeesport; possession with intent to deliver cocaine; charged June 6 when police were called to remove two children from 1141 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi, and he dropped a bag containing five packets of cocaine out a back window; sentence – 1 to 2 years in state prison, ordered to pay $113 in restitution.

William L. Jones, 34, of 1043 Clifton Road, Bethel Park; two counts of delivery of crack; charged May 27 and June 21 after delivering crack to a confidential informant in a Finleyville parking lot; sentence – 6 to 23 months on electronic home monitoring with work release, ordered to pay $226 restitution.

Jeffrey T. Harris, 32, of 107 Bevrodon, Early, Texas; second offense of DUI; charged March 19 following a one-vehicle crash on Route 231 North, Donegal; refused chemical test; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail, 18-month license suspension, $1,500 fine.

Joseph S. Pastorok, 60, of 227 Albert St., Washington; second offense of DUI; charged Sept. 2 on Interstate 70 West, Buffalo Township, with a BAC of 0.18 percent; sentence – 23 months of IPP, with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and first 90 days on SCRAM-X, 18-months license suspension, $1,500 fine.

Christina E. Stack, 29, of 1245 Fourth St., Monongahela; first offense of DUI; charged Aug. 21 after police found her slumped over the wheel of her vehicle on the Monongahela Bridge; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $1,000 fine.

Tyler J. Baker, 19, of 702 Grant St., Belle Vernon; first offense of DUI minors prohibited; charged Sept. 30 following a traffic stop at the Speers Exxon, 1001 Maple Ave. Charleroi; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail 12-month license suspension, $500 fine.

Pablo C. Ruiz-Diaz, 25, of 32 Hidden Valley Drive, Finleyville; second offense of DUI; charged Aug. 20 following a traffic stop on I-70 East in South Strabane Township with a BAC of 0.145 percent; sentence – 6 months of IPP, with first 2 months on electronic home monitoring and firt 30 days SCRAM-X, 12-month license suspension, $750 fine.

Michael S. Price, 55, of 592 W. McMurray Road, McMurray; second offense of DUI; charged Aug. 13 following a two-vehicle accident on West McMurray Road, Cecil Township, with a BAC of 0.171 percent; 6 months of IPP, with first 2 months on electronic home monitoring and first 30 days SCRAM-X; 12-month license suspension, $750 fine.

Appearing befor Judge Katherine Emery were:

Dawn M. Harper, 38, of 25 Erie St., Washington; access device fraud, theft; charged with using a stolen credit card from an East Washington Borough resident at Walmart Pharmacy at Trinity Point on Sept. 21 and also using it at various other retail shops totaling $1,869; sentence – 12 months of probation, ordered to pay balance of restitution of $969.

Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Helen L. Sitar, 44, of 1552 Fourth St., Monongahela; disorderly conduct; charged June 16 for keying a vehicle owned by the resident of 9 Billin St., Carroll Township, and causing a disturbance; sentence – restitution of $380, $300 fine.

Paul A. Rusnak Jr., 30, of 34 1/2 Decker St., Monongahela; two counts of simple assault; charged May 31 after entering 135 Union St., Lot 11, New Eagle, and assaulting Ericka Rusnak and Zachary Glover; sentence – 12 months of probation, pay $250 in restitution.
