McDonald police filed charges against three people stemming from an incident last month in Midway.

Police went to 213 A Washington Ave. Feb. 27 with an Allegheny County police detective and a U.S. marshal in an attempt to take Dillon James O’Rourke into custody after receiving information that he was staying at the home.

The homeowner, Kevin Boni, allowed police inside the house. Inside the home, police said they found drug paraphernalia including empty stamp bags. Police said O’Rourke was found sleeping in an upstairs bedroom with his girlfriend, Mickie Parkin. He was taken into custody.

In the bedroom, police said they found paraphernalia and 10 stamp bags of suspected heroin. Additional paraphernalia was found throughout the house, along with more empty stamp bags of suspected heroin, police said.

Parkin, 22, of 1801 Beech Hollow Road, Bulger, is charged with possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. O’Rourke, 22, of 422 Fannie St., McDonald, is charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Boni, 22, who also has an address of 9471 Noblestown Road, McDonald, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.
