ERIE – Authorities in northwestern Pennsylvania say a woman died and a man was injured in a fire in a mobile home.

The Erie Times-News says the blaze in Erie County’s Summit Township was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Fire Chief Don Erbin Jr. of Kuhl Hose Co. said crews found the victim dead inside the mobile home in Holly Acres Estates.

He said a man who lived in the residence was taken to UPMC Hamot, where his condition was not immediately available.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
