Marijuana, paraphernalia charges: Alan T. Brady, 21, of 23 Oak St., Beallsville, was arrested Monday night by Beallsville police after he was found with suspected marijuana and paraphernalia during a traffic stop. Brady, who was a passenger in the vehicle stopped on Oak, also was wanted on a warrant issued by District Judge Curtis Thompson for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge. He was arraigned before Thompson and placed in the Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Forgery, theft charges: Crystal Lyn Large, 33, of Van Voorhis, will be charged by Southwest Regional police with forgery, identity theft, access device fraud and theft after she allegedly used an Access card of a Bentleyville resident in November, she also is accused of selling $300 worth of food stamps on the card for $150. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Woman swindled: Robert J. Semulka, 45, of 324 N. Main St., Houston, is charged by township police with deceptive business practices and criminal mischief over accusations he accepted $1,800 from Barbara Douglas to perform roof repairs to her house at 35 Pearl Alley between November and March without completing the work, court records show. Police said Douglas’ house sustained $1,000 in water damages during her unsuccessful attempts to reach Semulka. He is free on $5,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

DUI charge: Timothy Bendick, 22, of 338 Joffre-Bulger Road, Burgettstown, will be charged by Chartiers police with driving under the influence of alcohol stemming from a two-vehicle crash on Route 18 (Henderson Avenue) at Sam’s Place early Saturday. Police said Bendick pulled from the restaurant parking lot into the path of a vehicle driven by Daryl Cogley, 39, of Templeton, Armstrong County. Bendick’s blood alcohol content was three times the 0.08 limit presumed for intoxication, according to the criminal complaint. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Trespass, threat charges: Aaron Patrick Trilli, 26, of 14 Mellon Ave., Donora, was arrested Monday by Donora police after he allegedly forced his way into the apartment of Angel Hull, 100 Modisette Ave. Once inside, he reportedly spat on Nick Yancek and threatened to put a gun down his throat. No gun was seen. Trilli left before police arrived and was found walking back to his home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on charges of terroristic threats and criminal trespass. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $20,000 percentage bond.

Charged in overdose: Blaine Howcroft, 26, of 4199 Battle Ridge Road, McDonald, will be charged by McDonald police with possession of heroin and drug paraphernlia after he allegedly overdosed on the drug March 8 at 91 Highland Ave., Independence. Police were called to the residence and found Howcroft unresponsive on the kitchen floor. He became responsive and conscious as medics arrived. Police saw needle marks on his arm and he told police that he had shot heroin but was not sure what happened to the needle. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Vehicle damaged: Sarah A. Dix, 1522 Amity Ridge Road, Amwell Township, told North Franklin police Sunday that the console of her unlocked vehicle was damaged while parked at Bob Evans, 1380 W. Chestnut St.

Wallet stolen: Mike Blankenship, 330 Scenic Drive, told North Franklin police Sunday that his wallet containing his debit and Social Security cards was stolen.

Criminal mischief: The Snowy White Laundromat at 1070 Jefferson Ave., was vandalized Sunday, city police said. Damage included a hole in a wall, two holes in countertops, broken molding and a broken washer.

Vehicle damaged: Christina Piatt of 204 Wilson Ave., Apt. 1, Washington, reported that the rear right light on her vehicle was broken while it was parked outside her home between 11 a.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Windshield broken: Jennifer Laurine of 140 Grove Ave., Washington, reported that she saw three white men break the windshield of her vehicle with a brick. She said the men were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Criminal mischief: Tiffany Johnson of 126 Hall Ave., Washington, reported the rear window of her vehicles was broken with a large rock Sunday.
