Compliance check held

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement conducted an age compliance check at three establishments in the Washington County area about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Trained, supervised underage buyers attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Of the three checked, only Lagerheads in Coal Center was in compliance. An employee asked the underage buyer for identification. After reviewing the underage buyer’s ID, the employee refused service.
The establishments not in compliance were not identified by investigators.
