Panel approves apartment expansion measures

The Washington County Redevelopment Authority has approved resolutions related to the expansion of a North Franklin Township apartment complex.
Fourteen units will be added to the Century Plaza Apartments. Construction is expected to begin in August on the $1,850,000 project.
At its monthly meeting last week, the redevelopment authority entered into a loan agreement with Century Plaza Apartments L.P.; approved a contract with Gerard and Associates for architectural services; and approved a contract with the lowest responsible bidder.
